Eleven years, one specialism.

I'm Nikita — a WordPress developer based in Prešov, Slovakia. I started on PHP in 2015 and never drifted. Fifty-plus sites shipped for teams in India, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The short version

Why staying put was the point.

Most developers move on every couple of years — a new framework, a new stack, a new set of problems to learn from scratch. I stayed with WordPress, and that decision is the whole story.

Eleven years on one platform means the second and third time you meet a problem, you already know its shape. When a site is slow, a checkout is quietly dropping orders, or a theme update has broken a layout that worked yesterday, I'm not starting from a blank page. I know which of the twelve likely causes to check first, and in what order.

That's what specialisation buys a client: fewer exploratory hours, fewer surprises late in a build, and a site that still behaves twelve months after launch — not just on the day it went live.

I've worked with agencies and direct clients across India, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and the United States, on everything from custom themes and WooCommerce stores to migrations and rescue jobs on builds someone else left behind. Now based in Slovakia and finishing an MBA, so the technical answer usually arrives with the business one attached.

What I actually do Day to day

Development first — but rarely only development.

CoreBuilding and rebuildingCustom themes and child themes from design files, WooCommerce stores, migrations onto WordPress, and templates a non-technical team can extend without breaking.
CoreMaking it fast, keeping it safeCore Web Vitals work, image pipelines, caching, database cleanup, plugin audits — plus updates, backups and security patches handled on a schedule.
AdjacentKeeping the marketing movingScheduling social posts, running ad campaigns and writing marketing emails when clients need the site's traffic to actually come from somewhere.
AdjacentDirecting the shootCoordinating product photo and video shoots — models, styling, props, venue — because a fast store still looks flat with weak product images.

How I work 03 principles

What you can expect on a project.

01 Scope before code I'd rather spend an hour mapping the sitemap and the user journeys than three days rebuilding a section nobody agreed on. You get the structure in writing before anything is built.
02 Built to be handed over Clean templates, sensible field names, and a structure your team can extend later. A site you need me for every time you add a page isn't finished — it's a dependency.
03 Performance isn't a phase Speed, SEO basics and security get considered during the build, not bolted on when someone runs a report six months later and finds the score in the red.

Now tell me about your project.

A rough brief is enough to get a scope and a timeline back — what you're building, or what's gone wrong with what you've got.
